Ben Lomond holds two records: It is the most popular Munro. And geographically speaking it's the most South one.

The usual way to get to the start of Ben Lomond via car is to part at Ben Lomond car park. Narrow winding, one-way road with many passing places goes up and down as it approaches the car park, which is also the dead-end of that route. Good 16km before the car park you will start seeing "no parking on the side of the road" signs, which gives a hint that the car park is often very busy. I would recommend going either very early or after ~2 pm to avoid problems with finding a free space.

The route itself is relatively steep, almost without any bog and gives great views on the Loch Lomond itself.

Conclusion

Ben Lomond is a very beginner-friendly Munro. Thanks to that it's oftentimes quite busy. The views are nice, but nothing exceptional.
